She saw him nod in another direction and turned to see a huge volley of arrows flying towards her. She ran to the nearest tree and ducked behind it as twenty arrows hit the trunk. She got out from behind it and shot at Mazron she ran around to the next tree and tagged it. She ran up to Mazron and pulled out an orb. She poured her reiryoku into it and let it go. The orb floated for a minute before it burst leaving a ball of energy. It moved around a bit and then lurched at Mazron while releasing a large blast of electricity.

Maria was now back to the tree she hid behind after traveling in a circle. She climbed the tree and then stood there. she targeted all the natives and mentally marked their locations.

Maria gasped as the vines latched onto her and started to drain her. She struggled and then was let go as Trilon moved up to her. She knelt down on the branch and breathed deeply. Maria stared at Trilon. You are one twisted man. She grinned as the energy left her and then returned. She took as step to the left and continued ocasionally taking a larger step to move to the next pillar. She then began to move faster till she was eventually running around Mazron and Trilon. She then lept forward and kicked Mazron before slipping back and drawing both knifes from her boots. This is really unfair on his part. I almost feel sorry for the demon.

Maria hyperventilating from the effort began to attack again when Mazron came behind her and grabbed a-hold of her head. She was stunned with wide eyes as he started the process that would finish her. She was about to pass out when her self conscious returned to her. She noticed both Mazron and Trilon cowering on the ground in pain.

What's going on? She hesitated but brought herself together. She pulled her gun from her holster and pulled back the action. She spoke to Mazron. You know I really don't like it when people mess with me. She pointed the gun. Especially cultists... Bala Santamente! The muzzle glowed fiercely and flooded the ground with light. and then it was over. A bullet was now planted in Mazron's chest, only an inch from his heart. it was a good wound, not enough to kill him, but enough to make him regret the day for a long time to come.

She walked back over to Trilon and helped him up. She smiled, for once an actual genuine smile. She felt good, better even than she had in a long time. It may have been a crazy day with learning of a whole other world, but a good day nonetheless.

Maria nodded as Trilon dissipated. She suddenly fell down onto her knees. The fatigue from the day had worn her out beyond no ends. She struggled to her feet and walked forward finding herself back on the streets of Karakura town. She got home in time. She put her stuff down and crawled into bed. She soon fell asleep drifting into a dream.
