Kobato Strikes Again!

Zane flash steped up into the sky above and looked down at the shinigami with his zanpakto in hand. " Come one, stop holding back, this own't be any fun if you don't go full strength" said Zane. " Now, let's spice this up a bit. Unleash the world of chaos and brake the steel prison, Bakudo 137." With that said, Zane moved his zanpakto above his head and pointed at the sun. His zanpakto began to unleash a black energy that blocked the sun then surrounded him and kabuto in a force-feild that made everything go black for a moment. In seconds a bright flash of light filled the feild and the two fighters were now in Zane's zanpakto world, which was a desert area much like heuco mundo but with intensifying arrays of spiritual pressure. The sand was a blacker color then the base gray of heuco mundo's desert and the sand felt as solid as rock, even thought it could be broken easily. He landed on the sand-covered ground with his zanpakto now radiating reiatsu. " Now, I will kill you slowly and painfully."

"Break the deception and reveal, Bakudo #140!", kobato said. It seemed as if nothing happened, but he just needed to wait 3 minutes and the illusion would be gone". He then rushed at Zane seeing as he wasn't going to attack first. he then slashed at his midsection, spinning his zanpakuto so that he had the blade facing the opposite of zane and then sliced at the same area with his zanpakuto. He then flipped the blade back into the right position and putting his blade up into the air, came down in a powerful vertical strike.

"Let's up the anty", kobato said to Zane. He then yelled,"Scorch to cinder Banriou!", and his blade began to scorch white hot and all the while blue flames started to lick at the tip of the blade. If his zanpakuto even skimmed Zane he wuld be left with a very deep burn. He then said,"Your turn" and got into a defensive stance.

" Heh, you think that kido will work on myn? This is no mere illusion. It takes the power of my zanpakto and manipullates the fabric of space in a specified area for a limited time period to turn into into that world." said Zane as he moved his zanpakto so it would be in position to block both strikes from the first strike. Using his left arm, Zane moved it up to block the virtical slash, although leaving a cut in his arm and causing a slight amount of blood to drop.

" If you want to take this to the next level then so will I. Consume the world around me and show your true power, Raienzo". A shroud of reiatsu surrounded his zanpakto and transfered it into a larger, black colored state. The air around the sword became visible along with the reiatsu gathering in the zanpakto at an intence rate. The blade glowed with spiritual pressure and over-flowed with power, showing small streams of energy flowing around it.

Zane vanished in an instant leaving only a thin wind where he once stood then re-appeared two feet behind Kabuto. He spun at a 180 degree angle and swung his blade down at Kabuto's back while unleashing a raging wave of reiatsu out of the steel.

Kobato said,"If it's for a period of time then that kido i used shortened it", he said with a smile before Zane disppeared. When he reappeared behind him he also spun in a 180 degree motion and blocked the strike and since zane's zanpakuto was made ou of steel like all otheres his zanpakuto became hot in zane's hands. He then flashstepped above him and sent three whirling balls of fire at Zane. After that he brought his blade down, so that if zane blocked the fire balls he wouldn't suspect the slash.

Zane looked up at the on coming attack and pull his sword down so the pointed faced the blsck sandof the new realm." I would know how good that kido is...after all, I made it my self." He then slashed his blade up at the sky sending a large cut-shaped slash of pure reiatsu at the fire balls and kabuto.

The combined force of the fire balls blocked the wave and Kobato cut Zane's chest. Blood didn't really come out because of the heat from his blade which meant all the better. More pain, longer duration.

Zane jumped back away from kabuto after being slashed and clutchs his chest for a moment from the attack. " Well well, looks like I'll have to stop toying around." he said while grabing his zanpakto with both hands. The blade rapidly absorbed reiatsu as beefore, but now at a faster pace. Zane dashed at labuto and swung his blade down for a vertical slash. If kaboto blocked the strike, Zane would unleash a explosive blast of reiatsu out of his zanpakto . ( What hollow ichigo did with getsuga in ichigo's hollow world." )

Kobato sent 3 fire balls at Zane's attack. he then followed through with a small kick just to knock him back and then he flashstepped behind him as he was sliding back. (If the kick connected) He then slashed at Zane's back with his blade in a powerful vertical strike bringing it down with both hands to increase power. He then slashed upward with his blade, so that he would deal 2 strikes to the back in the same area.

Zane followed the movements of the three kicks and dodged the first two strikes by moving side-steping to the left, then the right, and ending by using his right arm to try and grab kabuto's leg as the third kick came his way. After which, Zane held his other arm for-ward and flattened his palm so it was directly facing kabuto's skull and said " Hado 143". With that said, Zane would crush his hand around kabuto's leg to ensure a firm hold to prevent a flash step. A moment later, blue reiatsu filled his flattened palm and exploded into a powefrul kido beam with power equal to that of a basic Cero's.

Kobato yanked his foot away with a huge jerk of his leg and then flashstepped behind Zane so his spell would miss. He then spun and slashed at Zane's back sweeping at zane's legs, he then back flipped and sliced at his back.

Zane, at the sight of kabuto's flash step, flash steped five feet back away from kabuto's new location and turned around to face the shinigami." Well, your not gona make thsi easy are you. No matter, you will still lose in the end, Now, use your ban-kai, This fight with shikai alone is starting to turn dull."
Zane raised his zanpakto above his head and spoke," consume." The entire spiritual kido around them would then shatter and be devoured entirely into the sword, sucking every last bit of reiatsu into it's steel and creating monsterous spiritual pressure to indicate the amount of absorbed reiatsu. He pulled the blade back down to his side and awaited for his opponent's next move. ( No it's not Bankai just absorbing a fuckload of reiatsu. and thsi fight is lasting awhile... also where the hell is every1, there logging in less N less ecah day)

Kobato held his blade out so that it was facing Zane and then mumbled the words,"Ban...Kai". His blade grew even whiter as bigger and greater flames started to envelope his blade. He smiled because he was faster than ever now and it felt good to have this reiatsu flowing through his veins.

Zane moved his zanpakto and his left hand so that his left hand griped the steel edge of the blade. The reiatsu from the last absorbtion intensifyed, showing incredibly high traces of spiritual pressure. " Now, I'll end this. Burst, Ezen Raienzo." he said.A huge wave of reiatsu then surrounded Zane and blasted into the sky tearing apart the ground beneath him and sending intense spiritual pressure waves in every direction. The blue wave of reiatsu then condensed around him and formed a reiatsu made aura around his body slowly raising his statistics. Finally, his blade turned into pure energy, then melded into a new state before re-solidifying. A constant flow of reiatsu surrounded Zane from the unleashing of power and he had activated his ban-kai state making him stronger, faster, more endurant, and able to consume reiatsu at a much faster rate. He swung his blade to the left creating a giant burst of wind from his new strength alone." Now, let's get the real fight started,: he said.

"Yes..let's", Kobato said. he then disappeared on the spot right next to Zane. He got really faster making his shunpo seem like teleportation. He then sliced at Zane's left arm, ducking low he also swiped at his legs with the flat end of his blade. Zane had better been quick with the dodging of these attacks for the flames on Kobato's zanpakuto grew larger, making less room for close combat.

Zane quickly swung his blade to the right without even looking at Kabuto to parry the first strike, creating a giant crater beneath them from the clash of the two zanpakto. He then instantly vanish, using flash step at a faster rate and re-appeared ten feet behind Kabuto. Zane plunged his zanpakto into the ground braking the earth around it., Reiatsu began to flow through the under-ground and made the entire city intensifyed in reiatsu bringing most low-level fighters to their knees.

Kobato watched as Zane blocked his first strike and disappeared before his blade could get too hot. He then stood still as the ground cracked and shattered and fell down right along with the falling debris. Or so it seemed... He then kicked off a wall underground and slashed upward at Zane's chest with a huge burst of blue flame.

Zane watched as the oncoming assault and swung his blade down at full strength to hit kabuto's blade. As he sliced down at him, a giant burst of reiatsu the size of a house blasted out of his zanpakto heading for kabuto and the blue flames.

The flames and the reiatsu collided only making Kobato's attack stronger. Your reiatsu is acting like wind right now and because of that my flames grow larger. Kobato's attack was coming so close to zane that he would be fried if he didn't move any time soon.

Zane obsearved the oncoming attack and quickly thought up an idea. " Bakudo 128," he said as a large barrier began to form around him. He then jumped for-ward at the flames with his zanpakto continuously feeding the barier reiatsu. Zane smashed into the flames using a near-endless amount of reiatsu and spiritual pressure as a barrier. When exiting the blast, Zane had several 1st degree burns around his chest and right arm but he continued to move for-ward hoping to catch kabuto off-guard from this action. When entering close range, He swung his zanpakto down at kabuto's right-hand pressure point with the point of his blade in attempt to stab into it and cause a chain-reaction throughout the shinigami's nervous system. ( Basically if it hits it would cause high pain throughout the inner nerves causing internal damage in the part of your body that gives it feeling )

Kobato was not at all surprised at Zane's raw power and when he came close he focused his reiatsu into the pressure point in his right arm to block the attack. he then swung up so the flames would burn zane some more.

Zane flash steped away from the strike and into the air using spiritual pressure to defy gravity. " Is that all you have?" he said. Zane's zanpakto then began to rapidly absorb reiatsu again raising his spiritual pressure to an even more extreme level.

"I'm just warming up", Kobato said with smile. "Your move", he said.

Zane vanishs into the air with flash-step then re-phases into view two feet behind Kabuto. He swung his blade for-ward at a pointed angle so the point of it was aimed at a position in the back exactly 1 inch away from the location of the heart if it sliced through his entire body.

Kobato whipped around and blocked the strike so fast that sparks flew out of the clash between them. (What Zaraki did to Byakuya) In his Bankai because the flames got bigger Zane's sword was becoming more and more hot until it would reach the point where he would get burned holding it. Kobato then slid his blade along the flat side of Zane's blade until he got enough momentum and then sliced down with his zanpakuto. He came down with it to add more power.

{ You don't give up easy, do you?}

Zane unleashed a set amount of reiatsu from his zanpakto to repel the ehating affect of Kabutio's fire-based ban-kai. He then jumped back to evade the down-ward strike and and held his zanpakto above his head once again. " Consume," he said, before the last bits of reiatsu from the town began to murge into the steel of the blade putting it at it's most powerful state in this realm. ( Meaning as strong as it can be in the human world, it's better in soul society. WAY better considering how much damn reiatsu their is to devour there.... near endless.)
A wave of reiatsu began to engulf the zanpakto revealing the vast amounts of reiatsu and spiritual pressure being stored inside. Zane dashed at kabuto with the point of his blade aimed at Kabuto. When entering close-range, Zane smashed his left hand at Kabuto's gut, but before contact vanished with flash steped a re-phased one foot to the right of him. He finished by swinging a large, radiateing, reiatsu engulfed blade at kabuto's right-arm.
