Squad 7: Headquaters

Mizu walks around the squad 7 base looking for the Captain so he can be join and be assigned a rank.

Ægirdor was at his desk, doing paperwork. It was difficult without a lieutenant. He began checking things off a list. So far he had gotten an inventory of the squad supplies from his third seat, and a current listing of the new shinigami academy graduates who had shown interest in becoming a member of the 7th squad. The list was short. Recently Seretei has been starving for recruits. But luckily enough, most all of the new recruits were talented.

He pushed back his chair and got up. He stretched a little. That chair was uncomfortable as heck. He walked over to the door and opened it. A kid walked by. He looked lost. Ægirdor spoke out to him. Do you need help finding something?

Looked at the man and said with a serious face "Yeah, Um can you help me find the Captain? My name is Mizu and I'm trying to join Sq.7." he would say offering the man a handshake with a light smile. ((Don't worry it's not a trick Lol))

Ægirdor smiled. Nice to meet you. He took his hand and pulled the shinigami toward him and aimed a light punch toward his stomach. It was not enough to do anything, but it would be surprising. I'm the captain, Ægirdor Biarnarson.

Holds his stomach and grins "Nice to meet you Captain! So where do I sign to join?" he says standing up straight.

Well first things first. Always be ready for battle. He smiled and patted him on his back. He led the shinigami towards a larger multi-purpose room. You can join right away. However, we are currently in need of seated officers, and a lieutenant. So if you can show me that you deserve it you can get a good starting rank.

Mizu grins and says "How about a kido demonstration?" he says knowing that in Kido he can't be beaten. Mizu would close his eyes and take a deep breath, he opens them and says "Hado 88: Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" and fires a huge blue way into a wall destroying half the building the beam was aimed. Mizu then begins to breath hard knowing Hado spells in the 80's are very hard and require technical abilities. He turns and smiles at the Captain saying "Tuh Dah!"

Ægirdor was glad that he lead Mizu into the room they were in now. It served as many things, including a sparring arena. Therefor the wall, even though now it had a crater like indention, survived with reishi reinforcement. He turned to the recruit. If you wouldn't mind, I would like to keep my barracks. He laughed. He backed away just incase he tried something else extreme. Let me see your sword(releases), if you would please.

Mizu laughed Yes Sir, I'll try to keep it in one piece. Rise like the Tides, Tidal. his katana would then split into two katanas, one black and one white. He then clashes them together saying "Howl." and creates water from air. He changes the water into steam, then mist, then water vapor, then back into water. He then combines his swords to make a green blade that he uses to turn the water into different liquids. First Pepsi, then snake venom, then acid and finally back to water.

Impressive. I manipulate water too. However, to a much lesser degree. He reached to his belt and opened his spirit bank. He took four bands out. One was a badge for the fifth seat, one for fourth, one for third, and one for lieutenant. Final test Burke. he shunpoed around the room. The fifth badge was right in front of Mizu on the floor. The fourth was hanging on a rope, suspended above them, protected by a strong kido barrier. The third was in a box on the far wall of the arena, behind Ægirdor. The lieutenants badge was folded over, and hung on the captains belt. You get to choose where you start. If you can retrieve the badge, you earn it.

Mizu takes a deep breath and his body begins to glow white with reitsu. "Fine my Captain, I'll be your Lt. BUT-" he says and grins "I like to play it safe." Mizu begins to shunpo and picks up the 5th seat band, he then flashsteps to pick it up. He might not be able to shunpo as fast in long distances, but for short distances he's fast. He then picks up speed and punches the kido barrier catching his breath as he grabs the next band. He takes another deep breath and shunpo steps in front of the Captain and stops to catch his breath, he breaths hard and uses Senka to past the Captain and runs to grab the next belt in the box. He then catches his breath and looks at the Captain. "This may be my final assault sir, I don't like using too much Reitsu." He gets in an offensive stance to attack the Captain. Mizu turns the water he created earlier into water vapor, then into mist and rushes to take the band on the Captains belt.

Ægirdor let Burke grab the fifth band. He watched as he destroyed the barrier on the fourth. However when he went for the third box, Ægirdor shunpoed in front of him and swung his sword out in an arc.

Mizu blocks the attack and jumps back, he would then hold his hand out and say "Bakudo 63: Sajo Sabaku." and would rush towards the box.

Good job. If you keep it up, you may just win. Hado 53 Tenran. A miniature tornado blast was fired on the ground, and pushed against the bakudo. This caused the hanki effect, allowing Ægirdor to get out. He moved forward and kicked the box into the air. and followed up with a wordless Bakudo 8 Seki. He rammed it towards the shinigami to stun him and bounce him away.

Mizu would use a his own Bakudo 8: Seki to propel himself further towards the box because by the two hitting each other simultaneously it created a boost like magnets touching. He'd then grab the damned box already to take the badge. He's then get irritated and try to finish the battle quickly "This is using too much energy as it is. I'm finishing this." he would say and holds out his hand. He then combines his blades once more and changes all the water vapors on the floor into something... a bit more difficult. Something like pure chlorine, he then makes a powerful kido wall around the Captain with the chlorine inside the walls which should begin slowly knocking him out, but to be safe Mizu allows the water vapors to reach the ceiling and lets it drip down all over the place.

Ægirdor smiled. The kid was smart. Maybe a little to smart. He coughed. It might take a while for him to pass out, due to his big hearty body. He got a little blurry in the eyes, but he was still able to act. You can't expect it to be that easy can you? He untied a pouch from his belt. and called out. Svelga, Sjórdýr. The water wrapped around the blade and then condensed into a drill like pattern as Ægirdor thrust out to destroy the box. He leaped out and landed on the floor. He stumbled forward and thrust his sword into the floor to keep from falling. He laughed as he moved some of the water over his nose like a mask. With his shikai he could breathe in water.

"Good job Captain, but you breaking out was my plan. Now it's my turn." Mizu jumps in the air and allows the water vapors that drip down cover the entire arena and turns them all into gas, now the entire arena is flooded with gas. He puts his hand out and says "Hado: 31 Shot Of Red FIRE." and fires a fire ball at the gas causing a huge explosion on the entire ground. This had been his entire strategy the entire time, this is why he keep creating water and kept combining and un-combining his blades.

Ægirdor quickly moves a condensed shield all over his body. Without more water, it was only a thin amount. It only served to stop permanent damage. He fell on his knees. You are a sly one. He stood up. He pulled the badge out of his belt. It was slightly burnt. He tossed it over to his opponent. Congratulations you win. He walked over to him, and put his hand on his shoulder. Welcome to the 7th squad.

Mizu smiles and passes out holding onto the badge. He really overdid it, in a normal battle using quick kido moves like that and switching his shikai's abilities so quickly he'd been open for an attack as he got tired. He lays on the ground knocked out with a grin happy he made it. His shikai spirit forms from his sword, it's a wolf with scars on both eyes closing them. He nods to the Captain saying thank you before unreleasing it's self.

Ægirdor smiled. The kid did good. Better than he had expected. You could almost see it in his eyes; the determination. He would become a great shinigami one day. Ægirdor piked up Burke and moved him over to a bunk room. He then pulled a piece of paper off the table. He wrote a few words on it and laid it on the table next to the bed. The paper said "By the way, Your first duty as lieutenant is to clean up your mess." Ægirdor chuckled a little, and then left, to go take a nap of his own. (Exit Ægirdor)

Ægirdor was sitting in the mess hall, eating his lunch, when he heard a crash followed by a shouting woman. He looked up, and then noticed the change in the atmosphere. He swallowed another draught from his mug, and tossed his tray away.

Ægirdor walked into the main room of the headquarters, calmly, and with an air of respect, and responsibility. His captains haori was easily visible, and his sword was showing out from his belt. What is all the ruckus about? He looked at the girl who was now standing before him. She was very dark in appearance, and had the look of confidence, and passion. Is there a problem young lady? You seem like you're ready to punch someone.

(scrawny? he's Scandinavian. I'd say he's the opposite lol.)

The captain laughed. These haori, make everyone look bad. It makes thin people look bulky, and it makes larger people look like twigs. He took the challenge raising his spiritual pressure against hers. You yourself don't look the part of a competent shinigami. He sighed. Kids these days. all dressed up like their going to a funeral, and paying no mind to proper dress codes.

He had seen strong reiatsu before, and this particular one impressed him none the more. You want to test my strength? He smiled. He liked this girl. She was full of spunk, and didn't seem to take crud from anyone. He nodded. So what you're saying is that you challenge me to a duel, in front of the entire 7th squad? If so you have guts kid. He let some more pressure rise up. as his cloak flared up a bit, revealing his wide shoulders, and muscular limbs.

(She doesn't base her idea of you on physical looks or power, only on spiritual energy, and right now your pretty scrawny feeling to her. A note, she is a kido user so she's a highly spiritual fighter.)

Suddenly it seemed to flare up once more, her body slightly shifting into a more blur like state while forcing out even more spiritual pressure. "Hm, I suppose we can do that. I don't prefer looking the part of one of those common Shinigami, I'm not like one of those mindless drones. I prefer my own fashion of action. She said with a firm tone of voice. Her eye's still a blank emotionless slate.
